The art department at Self Aware Games had an art jam to concept for the card battler game "Gambit." The first day went successfully so we ended up extending it to day 2. This time I tried to revisit some concepts from the previous day that I felt were rushed.
On day 1 I was trying to explore different "armies," and how to represent a unified group of fighters in any way other than a literal army. On day 2 I wanted to really emphasize on why each team is faction is motivated to fight. In this round of design I focused on the mana crystals, because its the most important resource in the game.
